Optimal Power has delivered physical security upgrade works across 39 Transgrid substation sites within NSW, with approximately 930 security cameras installed to date. Working as a trusted delivery partner across the Transgrid network, Optimal Power manages the full scope of civil and electrical works required to upgrade security infrastructure at live substation sites — from initial site establishment and safety documentation through to final camera installation, termination and network connection.
Each site is delivered to Transgrid's stringent standards, with Non-Destructive Digging (NDD) works, excavation permits and soil management processes completed in accordance with Transgrid requirements for the civil works while quality and privacy are kept to the highest standard across the electrical and communications aspects of the projects. Works are carried out with minimal disruption to live network operations, with Optimal Power coordinating all trades and documentation from mobilisation through to handover.
