Project Overview

Appointed as Principal Contractor, Optimal Power delivered a full civil and electrical substation extension at Deniliquin, including new bay infrastructure, primary equipment installation, shunt reactor delivery and installation, busbar extensions welded and tested on-site, full earthing systems, and asset replacements — all executed to stringent Transgrid standards.

  • 2x GE Live Tank Circuit Breakers (245kV)
  • 2x 66kV 11MVAr Shunt Reactors — delivery & install
  • Asset replacement: 3x 132kV CVTs, 1x 175kV CB, 3x CTs
  • Earth grid & busbar conductors — welded on-site
  • Bench extension, reactor bunds & equipment foundations
